Surfing in Cabo

Cabo holds a special place in my heart.  I first went there with my parents in 2000 and have been hooked ever since.  I have gone back at least 3 times a year after my first trip.

I now bring my own family and have created so many unbelievable memories there I can't begin to write about them all.

Of course one of my favorite things to do there is surf.  There is nothing like taking in the scenery while sitting on your board in the ocean.  The saying goes - that only a surfer knows the feeling.  That can not be more true then when you look back at the shore and see so many beautiful images that will forever be imprinted in your mind.

On one of my trips we talked the local jet ski crew into taking us to a local surf spot.  Holding on to the back of the ski and bouncing over the waves with a grin from ear to ear is definitely a highlight of all my trips.  After dropping us off we surfed for a couple hours and then started wondering if our jet ski crew were coming back.  I mean there are worse places to be stranded at . . . but I had my family to get back to.

Needless to say they came back and I notched that experience up as an all time high in the memory books.
